Delivery of spreaders to Autobahn GmbH successfully completed

Bräunlingen, Germany, October 31st 2024 - Küpper Weisser GmbH - a company part of the Swiss Boschung Group - last month delivered the last vehicle for the time being of the major tender issued by the federal government’s Autobahn GmbH.

To ensure traffic safety on Germany’s highways at all times, the Bräunlingen-based subsidiary of the Boschung Group was able to equip a total of 83 trucks with state-of-the-art hydraulic systems for year-round use. In addition, a total of 167 spreaders were ordered for nationwide use.

Küpper-Weisser GmbH’s ultra-modern spreading technology is not the only thing that ensures operational safety on the highways; Autobahn GmbH also requires an efficient and sustainable system solution. This system solution must be able to cope with a wide variety of tasks throughout the year.

The current trucks are equipped with roll-off tippers as well as loading cranes and mechanical/hydraulic swap systems. In winter, the vehicles can be operated with front and side snow plows together with spreaders. In summer, the vehicles are used for sweeping operations or for working with excavators or mowing equipment.

The last vehicle for the bodybuilder partner Kaiser Fahrzeugbau from Ascheberg was recently handed over to the representatives. From there, the vehicles go to MAN Truck and Bus GmbH and are then delivered to the individual highway maintenance centers in the state. The vehicles will be deployed from the south (AM Engen) to the north (AM Scharbeutz) and from the east (AM Cottbus) to the west (AM Essen).
